Terms of service.
The short version: you pay monthly, you can cancel any time, the agent only does what you’ve connected and approved, and your data stays yours.
These terms are between Feltlab Software Pty Ltd (“Feltlab”, “we”) and the business that signs up (“you”). Feltlab sells to businesses only. By subscribing, or by using an agent we’ve set up for you, you agree to them. Our privacy policy is part of these terms.
The service
Feltlab sets up and runs an AI agent for your business in your own Slack workspace, connected to the tools you choose, and builds workflows on it from what you ask for. Two plans:
- Starter: the agent connected to Xero and Google Workspace, with your industry’s included workflows switched on, support in your Slack channel, and AI usage within fair use.
- Managed: everything in Starter, plus a half-day on-site audit in the first month, unlimited custom workflow requests one at a time, the extra systems those need connected, priority support and a monthly review.
Prices are on the pricing page, in Australian dollars, excluding GST. Fair use of AI means ordinary day-to-day use by your team; if usage is far beyond that we’ll talk to you before anything changes.
Billing and cancelling
- Each month is billed in advance by card through Stripe, plus GST. There is no setup fee.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page. Managed can be cancelled after its first month. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid for, and that month isn’t refunded.
- When you cancel, your server is shut down and its data deleted, and every connected tool is disconnected. Workflows built on Managed that run through an API keep running if you move to Starter; ones that drive a browser only run on Managed.
- If a payment fails we’ll let you know; the agent pauses if it stays unpaid.
What you’re responsible for
- Having the right to connect each tool and each mailbox, and making sure the people who connect them are allowed to. The person who clicks Connect is approving that access on your behalf.
- Reviewing what the agent asks you to approve. Anything that sends, changes or spends waits for a yes from your team.
- Using the service lawfully, and not for spam, harassment or anything that would breach the terms of the tools it’s connected to.
- Keeping your Slack workspace and the accounts behind your connected tools secure.
What we’re responsible for
- Setting up, running and looking after your agent and its server, and fixing things that break.
- Keeping your information private, as set out in the privacy policy.
- Being honest about what it can do. AI makes mistakes: the agent can misread an email or draft something wrong. That’s why approval is on by default, and why you shouldn’t switch it off for anything that matters.
Your data and ours
Everything in your tools, your Slack workspace and your server stays yours. The agent’s configuration, the skills and the software that run it are ours. Nothing you give us is used to train AI models. There is no lock-in: cancel and your tools are disconnected and your server removed.
Liability
Nothing here removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those, our liability for anything arising from the service in a month is limited to what you paid us for that month, and we’re not liable for loss caused by a connected tool, an AI provider, or an action your team approved. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in your Slack channel at least a month before it applies. Questions: jason@feltlab.dev.
